Exciting news for food lovers in Doylestown! Red Rooster Hot Chicken is officially opening its doors this Friday, September 5, at the former Quinoa location on East State Street. From 5 to 8 p.m., the eatery will be welcoming customers with free food during its grand opening, an event that promises to kick off their arrival in style.

Red Rooster specializes in Nashville Hot Chicken, a spicy fried chicken trend that has been gaining popularity across Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area. With the catchy slogan, “Experience the Heat; Savor the Flavor,” their menu offers a variety of bold options including hot chicken sandwiches, crispy tenders, loaded mac and cheese, loaded fries, sliders, and milkshakes.

Founded by Central Bucks High School East graduate Raheem Kakar, Red Rooster combines a passion for bold flavors with fresh ingredients. Raheem’s family has a rich history in the restaurant business, and he’s carried that legacy forward with a modern twist on halal comfort food. According to the restaurant’s website, Red Rooster is “not just serving food, we’re serving energy, spice, and serious good vibes.”

Raheem’s journey into the restaurant world began immediately after high school. Inspired by his family’s culinary expertise and his own love of cooking, he wanted to create a dining experience that’s both vibrant and flavorful. Every item on the menu is designed to showcase high-quality ingredients and bold southern flavors, with spice levels customizable to your taste.

Red Rooster opened its first location in Warminster on Street Road in June 2024 and quickly became a local favorite. Now, with its arrival in Doylestown, residents can enjoy the same crispy, juicy chicken and loaded sides just minutes from home. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a casual meal, Red Rooster promises a dining experience full of heat, heart, and soul.

If you’re exploring homes in Doylestown or nearby areas, this new local hotspot is just another reason to love the community. Bold flavors, a buzzing atmosphere, and fresh, quality food, Red Rooster brings all that and more right to your neighborhood.
